The book ”LIGHT-Lamps 1968-1973: new Italian design” was published in cooperation with designer and writer Fulvio Ferrari, Napoleone Ferrari and the Italian publishing-house Allemandi. A hommage to the fascinating light objects of the years between 1967 and 1972 – generally known as ”gli anni d´oro” (The golden years).
The book offers a great view of outstanding Italian light-design and well-known designers like Ettore Sottsass, Achille Castiglioni, Superstudio, Joe Colombo, Gianfranco Fini, Mario Bellini, Cesare Casati and George Sowden. With more than 150 pictures and detailled information on every single lamp, the book ”LIGHT – Lamps 1968-1973: new Italian design” constitutes a serious information source regarding vitality, creativity and variety of colours, materials and functions.
